“Oscar Wilde About America” reimagines Oscar Wilde’s 1882 tour as a present-day American roadtrip. Traveling coast-to-coast from New York City to Hollywood, the film is a fantastical journey through America in 2024, where our Oscar finds the queer joy, love, and liberation that eluded him 141 years ago.
Filmed in London and in multiple locations across the United States, “Oscar Wilde About America” is directed and edited by James Andrew Walsh and stars London West End's Oscar Conlon-Morrey and co-stars Academy Award, Emmy, Golden Globe, Tony, Olivier, and BAFTA nominees and winners Rosemary Harris and Kate Burton.
