In 1882, Oscar Wilde toured America… in 2024, he came back. "Oscar Wilde About America" reimagines Wilde’s 1882 American tour as a present day roadtrip.  This big-hearted, cross country romp from New York City to Hollywood, CA leads Oscar to the queer joy, love, and liberation that eluded him 141 years ago.

Filmed in London and in multiple locations across the United States, “Oscar Wilde About America” is directed and edited by director James Andrew Walsh and stars London West End's Oscar Conlon-Morrey and co-stars Academy Award, Emmy, Golden Globe, Tony, Olivier, and BAFTA nominees and winners Rosemary Harris and Kate Burton. Executive producer Kimberly Chesser for Rhode Trip Pictures.

The film features the original song “Be Yourself, Everyone Else is Taken”, music and lyrics by Eamonn O’Dwyer, courtesy of Eamonn O’Dwyer and Rhode Trip Pictures, based on one of Wilde's most popular quotes.
